We're a small team and we genuinely want to help. Reach out anytime.
We typically respond within 1–2 business days.
Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and tap FactGuard.
Tap Profile → Restore Purchases in the app, or sign in with the same Apple ID used to subscribe.
Go to Profile → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your account and all associated data.
Email hello@factguard.org with a description and (if possible) a screenshot.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a request.
See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how to request data deletion.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not within the FactGuard app itself.
You will keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Sign in to the app with the same Apple ID you used when you originally subscribed. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, not the device. If it does not restore automatically, tap Profile → Restore Purchases.
No. FactGuard verdicts are produced by automated analysis, which can make mistakes. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify critical information against the cited primary sources. FactGuard is a research starting point, not a final authority, and is for general information only — not professional advice.
Deleting your account via Profile → Delete Account permanently removes your Firebase account, clears your local app data (streak, usage history, model preference), and — if you signed in with Apple — revokes your Apple authentication token. This action is immediate and irreversible. Your subscription through Apple is not automatically cancelled; cancel it separately through the App Store.
No. FactGuard does not sell your personal data. We have no advertising partners and no tracking SDKs. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Most fact-checking requires an internet connection to reach FactGuard's verification engine. If you have the on-device option enabled, basic fact-checking can run offline entirely on your iPhone without sending data anywhere.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the FactGuard charge, and select "Request a refund."
